Privacy Policy
Jason is a personal AI assistant. This policy explains what data Jason accesses, how it's stored, and how it's used. If anything here is unclear, contact vivddesigns@gmail.com.
What Jason accesses
Depending on which integrations an account has connected, Jason may access:
- Gmail and Google Calendar — via Google OAuth, scoped to reading, composing, sending, and organizing email, and reading/creating/updating calendar events, only for the account that explicitly granted access.
- Conversation history and memory — messages you send Jason, and notes Jason stores on your behalf so it can recall context across conversations.
- Stored credentials ("vault") — API keys or account credentials you choose to give Jason for specific tasks (e.g. a domain registrar or a mail-forwarding service). These are encrypted at rest and only decrypted at the moment a tool needs to use them.
- Browser and screen content — only on accounts with the desktop helper installed and only when you ask Jason to read or act on what's on screen. This is not passive monitoring; it runs on request.
How data is used
Data Jason accesses is used solely to carry out the tasks you ask it to do — for example, drafting an email, checking your calendar, or looking something up. Message content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing, subject to Anthropic's own data-handling terms. Jason does not sell your data, and does not share it with third parties except where a task you requested requires it (e.g. sending an email you asked it to send).
How data is stored
Jason runs on infrastructure operated for this account. OAuth tokens and vault credentials are encrypted at rest. Session authentication uses signed cookies or a paired access token scoped to your account; Jason cannot see or use another account's data.
Your controls
- You can disconnect Gmail/Calendar access at any time from Jason's settings — this revokes the OAuth grant.
- You can delete stored vault credentials individually from the vault panel.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated stored data by emailing vivddesigns@gmail.com.
Data retention
Conversation history and memory are retained until you delete them or request account deletion. Revoked OAuth connections stop granting access immediately; any cached tokens for that connection are discarded.
Children
Jason is not directed at, and is not knowingly used by, children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use of Jason after an update means you accept the revised policy.
